Summary of this tutorial:
Start by installing and activating the DC Fullscreen Responsive Menu plugin.
https://wordpress.org/plugins/dc-full-screen-responsive-menu/
You would then want to visit Appearance, DC Fullscreen Menu page to configure the plugin settings.
So long as you have created a menu you will be able to select one to use from the dropdown.
You will be able to select the direction for the slide-in effect for the full screen menu. There is also the ability to choose a background text color for the menu.
You can also choose a Google font for the menu that requires you to simply enter the font name.
Save your settings and you will now be able to view a full screen menu on your site.
