WordPress has a built in comment system that will work for a large number of sites. Sometimes you want to add more fields to your comment section. In this video, we will show you how to add custom fields to comments form in WordPress.

Start by installing and activating the WordPress comments fields plugin.

This will add a comments field section to your admin area.

In this area you can drag any of the fields over, give them a title, description, and the data name (all lower case).

You can set if it is a required field and add a css class to style it.

Once you’ve added all the fields you want click save all changes.
