Depending on your theme WordPress works best when you have either a featured image or a default fallback image. You may want to use a picture from the post you are working on as the fallback featured image. In this video, we will show you how to add a post attachment as your featured image.

Of you publish a post with this plugin active it will check for a featured image.
Should it not find one it will set the first image in a post to the features image.
If your featured image or post thumbnail look stretched or skewed then you will need to regenerate thumbnails to fix them.
