This video brought to you by OptinMonster, the best Lead-generation plugin plugin available, take a look at their site here:
For our discount use the code: WPBVIP
For this guide we’ll be using the Advanced Coupon plugin, you can find the plugin as well as any discounts we may have been able to have available to our readers using our affiliate/referral link below:
With the plugin installed and activated you can go under WooCommerce, Coupons to start creating the different coupon options available. To start, you can create a BOGO(buy one get one) deal to encourage first time buyers. You can set it to a specific categoy or only a specific product where people are checking.
For an additional option you can create a URL coupon so when a user viists a specific url the coupon is applied. In the coupon settings there should be a URL Coupons tab that allows you to specify the specific URL you are wanting to use and any redirects you would like to set up.
Next, you can have a specific seaonal discount if you create a discount and go to the Scheduler tab. The plugin also offers you the option to set the error message when the coupon is not active yet or is past the available date range.
Finally, if you want to offer your customers a free gift you can set a prouct’s price down to free if certain conditions are met. In the coupon’s options you can edit the Add Products section to automatically add the item of your choice and set the discount to the amount you’re wanting.
