How to Notify Users When Their Comment is Approved in WordPress



Comment moderation is a great tool to keep discussions on your site safe and helps to avoid spam. The downside to this is there is no easy way to inform users when their comment has been approved. In this video, we will show you how to notify users when their comment is approved.

Summary of this Tutorial:

Start by installing and activating the Comment Approved plugin.

Go to Settings, Comment approved to configure.

From here you can set the email notification and use %name% and %permalink% to add the comment author name and a link to the post.

Click enable and save the settings.

Under Discussion if it is set to have comment author must have a previously approved comment chedked, they will only need notification on their first comment.
